During the first week ,I have learnt how to use open educational resources (OER'S) ,cloud-based resources and simulation software. I have also explored different technological tools and blogs and how I can implement it in my teaching practice for the teaching of my subject area, that is art & design .In fact, it was quite an interesting discovery for me since it helped me to become more familiar with the use of technology for educational purposes. In addition, technology is being more and more integrated into the learning process and learning to use it effectively broadens my knowledge and helps to prepare me as a future educator and not only as a student of B.E.D ART&DESIGN at the Mauritius institute of education (Mie).
BE READY ....Grab your hot potatoes, students, we are preparing some hot questions on JQUIZZ for you !!

Firstly, I have learnt how to use hot potatoes which I have enjoyed using as part of discovering new methods of teaching .This application enables a variety of options to teachers who need to prepare exercises for their students from crossroads to multiple choice. Hot potatoes includes six main applications, mainly: multiple choice, short-answers such as JMIX,JCLOZE,JCROSS,JMIX and JMATCH which provides facilities to the learner and the teacher. Hot potatoes can be used as an effective tool in the teaching of any subject since it has several options. From my point of view, it is an interesting interactive web based program which can be used later in my school -based experience (SBE).This, therefore will help me to evaluate my class and get a feedback from students to know whether or not they have understood the topic using quiz or other tools on this program.
